Oxfordshire County Council in Pub Washrooms

Oxfordshire County Council are promoting NHS Health Checks on washroom panels in pub toilets across the county. Oxfordshire residents aged 40-74 qualify for the free check which is designed to help people prevent a range of common conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, stroke and dementia.

The checks take just 30-45 minutes and screen for all the most important health markers. Being proactive gives people the opportunity to tackle potential problems before they occur by using the results to prioritise lifestyle changes confidently.

Alcohol is a contributing factor in many of the conditions the health check screens for, so placing the advert in pub washrooms gives people time to reflect on their lifestyle choices, and take simple and effective action if inclined.

Delivering a message in an appropriate environment and at a relevant time is the best way to ensure engagement and is at the centre of everything we do. We call it Impacting Everyday Moments.
